Fairfax fire forum success (Ross Valley Reporter)
Fairfax hosted a fire forum for all residents on the morning Jan. 30 to discuss fire code issues. A presentation was made by Ross Valley Fire Department Chief Roger Meagor and the fire inspector on fire code requirements. Ray Moritz, the town’s arborist, also presented on the issue of defensible space around homes and what can be done about wildfires, a common problem in the area. [Read more...]
